The current location of the Deutsches Haus will be permanently closed
at midnight on Saturday, October 24th 1pm till midnight. 
This is due to the construction of the LSV / VA hospital complex


We will be up and running in our temporary location mid November.

Please come out and help up set up for Oktoberfest
Imbiss Prep, Lights, Move stage to new location,
remove parking lot gate / fence, electrical power to stage.
9am - till 5pm / Lunch provided

Saturday, September 11th - Alcohol Servers Class,  7pm
If you missed the first one:
According to Louisiana Law, if you sell or serve alcohol you need to attend a 2 hour class. This permit is good for 4 years. Please check the date on your card. The first time we had these classes was September 2005 your card could be expired before Oktoberfest 2010. If you are planning to work at any of the Bars for Oktoberfest you will need a valid card. Classes start at 7:00 pm and the cost is $25. A current legal Government Issued, Pictured: Identification Card (from any state) or Military I.D., etc. and S.S. Number

Come join us at the Haus for a little work, a little fun and a lot of friends!
Our work parties are a great way for anyone to give a little of themselves for a great cause - the betterment of our club!  There is something for everyone - no matter your skills and/or abilities!  Come join us for an hour, two or the whole day.  Lunch is always provided to our workers as a "thank you" for their hard work.
